There is incredible power in testimony. To hear of what God has done and revealed in someone else's life gives us confidence in who He is and what He can do in our own lives. Hearing testimonies can open us up to a discipleship journey we didn't know was available to us. This blog is a glimpse into my journey with God. He often gets my attention through nature, the Bible, and people around me. Ok He gets my attention a lot and invites me into new and deeper life with Him. I interact with life through asking questions to myself and God. There isn't much that happens around me that doesn't prompt questions.
As you read this blog, you will get a glimpse into my ongoing questions and discovery. I pray that as you read this page, God will grab your attention just like He has mine.
So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
2 Corinthians 3:18
My name is Joel Francis. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia and love where I live. I was raised here, but recently moved back after many years away. I feel like a kid again exploring the beauty of creation around me.
I have been blessed to learn from and serve with incredible disciples of Jesus in many cities and countries over the past decade: California, Ontario and British Columbia have been home with short trips to Europe mixed in. I had the privilege of serving on staff in a number of churches followed by two years working with MB Mission.
I love traveling, hiking, sports, a good cup of coffee and food shared with others. What excites me most, however, is seeing people come into the fullness of who they are in Christ. I love to discover God afresh in the seasons he leads me through, and join others in that same discovery.
